The new Blackberry Storm, now with less suck!

My parents both own the original Blackberry Storm. I have had the opportunity to use it a fair bit and I think it is a little better than many of the negative reviews it has received would lead to you to believe. I do understand them though.

The Blackberry Storm is the phone that should have been. It had everything going for it but for some reason, it failed to deliver. It’s touchscreen was not very responsive and its performance was underwhelming. One of its major selling points, the click screen was awkward. On the Motorola Droid

On Saturday, I picked up the newly released Motorola Droid. Having had the opportunity to use it for the last couple of days, I have to say that it is by a wide margin, the best phone that I have ever owned.

The obvious comparisons that everyone has been making is to Apple’s Iphone. I do not own an Iphone but I do have an Ipod Touch, which is essentially the Iphone sans phone. From my experiences there, it is markedly superior.  It is faster, the screen is more responsive and it has a removable battery and expandable memory. Continue reading “On the Motorola Droid” »

Review: Trick ‘r Treat

If you havn’t seen this movie, there’ll be some mild spoilers

In honor of Halloween, I’d figure I’d review a movie that punishes you for now honoring Halloween :)

The movie itself has a long and sorted history, I remember seeing a trailer for it a couple of years ago, but then it just disappeared into Movie Limbo. I have read various reason as to why this movie was never given a theatrical release, but regardless, they did finally release it.
