Under a Gibbous Moon

Well, I’ve decided to come out of self imposed exile. It has been a while since I have posted anything on here but there have been good reasons (including but not limited to):

• I moved
• Class work
• NaNoWriMo is rapidly approaching
• I didn’t feel like it

On the other hand, an internet black out was kind of relaxing. No blogging, no RSS feeds, no web comics, no Twitter, and just enough email to keep me functional at work and school. All good things must come to an end though and I figured what better day for that than the one year anniversary of Under a Gibbous Moon. Hard to believe, but I started this one year ago today. Take a moment to reflect on that…

OK, enough of that; back to the madness!

Time does seem to fly. Due to my daughter’s 1st birthday, I have been hosting family for the last two weeks. Now everyone has returned home, the place is empty once more and I start to boring you all. again

While I wax sentimental. Today was my daughter’s first birthday party.

She really enjoyed her cake. Sure she got most of it on her and the ground, but, hey, it’s her party.

One, two, three… awwwwww

After what seems like a small eternity, my new DSL modem has arrived. There is something to be said about being cut off from the internet but it’s not something that is said in polite society.

Well you heard him. You are now all left in my capable hands. And as your newly appointed benevolent despot, let me assure you that this power won’t go to my head. Just remember that I have absolute rule. Final say-so in everything. I am god-like in stature and ability. I AM YOUR GOD! KNEEL BEFORE ME! ME! ME! I HOLD THE KEYS TO THE KINGDOM! BE BEHOLDEN TO MY GRACE OR I WILL SMITE THEE!
