Under a Gibbous Moon

Like Vultures

by on Jan.14, 2010, under News

After the earthquake in Haiti, as with any natural disaster, there are those who see in it the opportunity to profit from the misery and suffering of others.

The Smoking Gun seems to have uncovered one. It seems that Wyclef Jean has, in the past, been using the donations to his charity organization to enrich himself and his cohorts.

As an example, the Wyclef Jean Foundation paid Wyclef Jean $100,00 to appear at a charity concert.

It is my advice, then, to donate to a reputable organization like the Red Cross instead of a two-bit con artist who is trying to enrich himself on the generosity of others.
